Day 4

Weight : 226 Workout : 1.5 hours kayaking Steps : 7,590 Daily Food Intake Breakfast - goat's milk yogurt with a dash of maple syrup and strawberries Lunch - duck egg omelette sandwich (on miche bread) Dinner - 2 hot dogs - bean salad - celery salad - brownie and cookie Snacks - nibbled on an assortment of appetizers - watermelon Non-Water Drinks - coffee (black and no sugar) - 3 beers Thoughts on the Day It was another day at the yacht club, so dinner wasn't the greatest but I got in an awesome kayak trip.  We went to the lagoon near a golf course where they have an active osprey nest, the mom was there and you could see the babies poking their heads up!

Day 3

Weight : 225.8 Workout :  Cardio 2, 30 minutes Steps :7,290 Daily Food Intake Breakfast - 2 pieces of pumpernickel bread with chicken pate Lunch - Dole Whip Dinner - 2 pieces eel sushi - 3 pieces eel maki - 3 pieces tuna sashimi - 4 pieces salmon sashimi - sea weed salad - mint chocolate chip ice cream Snacks - nibbled on an assortment of appetizers Non-Water Drinks - coffee (black and no sugar) - 4 beers Thoughts on the Day Another major challenge for me is when my yacht club has a happy hour.  It's a table loaded with appetizers to graze as well as beer and wine for all members.  I try my hardest not to over indulge there, but depending on who's around it sometimes gets difficult.

Day 2

Weight : 226 Workout :  Cardio 2, 30 minutes Steps : 2,491 Daily Food Intake Breakfast - 2 pieces of pumpernickel bread with chicken pate - nectarine Lunch - Celaric Slaw - 2 pieces of miche bread with butter Dinner - roasted chicken - carrots - cauliflower rice Snacks - dark chocolate Non-Water Drinks - coffee (black and no sugar) - 2 glasses red wine Thoughts on the Day I didn't realize just how out of shape I was until this morning when I was in the Nordic track, usually about 20 minutes in I feel like I'm going to die, this time it was about 5 minutes in, but I pushed through and survived.   I also don't get how my weight dropped two pounds from yesterday, not that I'm complaining! Yesterday must've been a fluke because I was wondering how I gained four pounds so quickly, two makes much more sense.

The Start of the Journey

          I've struggled with losing weight all throughout my twenties, I've joined a gym, gone to nutritionists, and dieted, all to no avail.  Now that I've entered thirties I feel like I need to buckle down fully commit to losing the weight.  In the past I'd lose about thirty pounds and self-sabotage which caused me to regain all the weight I had lost plus a few extra pounds, so I've decided to start this blog as a way to hold myself accountable and to break my bad habits.          My plan is to post every night with my workout, what I ate, and how many steps I walked for the day.
